How to pay your rent
There are nine ways to pay your rent . . .
1. online
Use your bank debit card or credit card to pay online. The money will go into your rent account within two working days. Pay online.
2. by standing order
This is probably the best way to pay. The money goes in straightaway, and there's no danger you'll forget to pay! We have a simple form for you to print out, fill in and send to your bank. Go to standing order form. You'll need to put your tenancy reference number (it's on your rent card). If you can't print out the form, or need advice, Contact us.
3. by phone
If you've got a credit card or debit card - like Mastercard, Maestro or Delta - just call us on 0800 840 1444. We'll ask for the tenancy reference number on your rent card.
4. telebanking
Ask your bank about this handy way to pay. You'll need our sort code 20-55-13, account number 13345165, and your tenancy reference number from your rent card.
5. at the post office
Use your rent card to pay at any post office. Pay by cash or cheque. It's a free service. Find your nearest post office (external site).
6. by post
Send a cheque (made out to City South Manchester Housing Trust) to: City South Manchester Housing Trust, Turing House, Archway 5, Hulme, Manchester, M15 5RL. Write your name, address and tenancy reference number (from your rent card) on the back of the cheque. Don't send cash through the post!
7. at a Payzone or a PayPoint
Look out for the pink Payzone and yellow PayPoint signs at local shops, newsagents or petrol stations. Use your rent card and pay with cash. It's a free, convenient and private service - shop staff won't see details of your rent account. Find your nearest payzone (external site). Find your nearest PayPoint (external site)
8. at our local office
Pay by cash, cheque, bank card or credit card, at

Whichever way you pay, please keep the receipt, or reference number, we give you.
