Help with your garden
Are you unable to get your garden done? We may be able to help.
Your tenancy agreement says that you must make sure your garden is tidy. If the garden is overgrown - and there is no good reason why you can't do it - we can clear it and charge you for the work.
But we know that it may be difficult for people who are not physically capable of doing the work themselves. So every year we do free gardening for some people who . . .
- have a disability, ill health or are elderly; and
- can't afford to pay a gardener; and
- have no-one else who can do it for them.
Apply for gardening help
If you meet the qualifications or have another very good reason why you can't do the work, apply for gardening help.
We will come and visit you within ten working days. We will then let you know what we can do, and when we'll do it.
