To be, or not to be. . .
Aspiring actors among our tenants have been put through their paces at a special theatre ‘taster workshop’ held at City South.
The workshop was aimed at residents who have come from overseas and was run by The Royal Exchange, in partnership with City South, to attract new members to their World Wide Workshop International Theatre Company.
Niall Power, head of regeneration at City South Manchester Housing Trust, said: “We work closely with the Royal Exchange to provide opportunities for our tenants, many of whom have never been to the theatre before, to access drama. This workshop was targeted at a particularly hard to reach group, who really benefited from the experience.”
