Tenants go behind the scenes
A group of City South tenants recently took a trip to the theatre to see the Library Theatre Company's production of Beautiful House... and got the chance to go behind the scenes and meet the all-star cast!
The visit last month was part of our efforts to introduce more customers to the vast array of arts and culture available on our doorstep.
Cast members John Henshaw, who starred as Meatballs in Looking for Eric, and Sally Carman, who plays Kelly Ball in Shameless, talked the group through the plot and answered any questions before they took to their seats ready for the curtain call.
City South tenant Alma Wood said: "The play was very good and it was an added bonus that we got to meet the cast, who are well-known faces from the television. I think it's fantastic that City South organised this for us - it demonstrates that they really care about their tenants and are interested in introducing us to something new. This was the first time I'd been to The Library Theatre, but I'll definitely be going back."
