City South shortlisted for industry award
City South has been shortlisted for Social Landlord of the Year at the Housing Excellence Awards 2010.
The winner will be announced at a glittering ceremony in Manchester on Wednesday 12th May.
Judges were looking for organisations that showed a commitment to investing in their homes and neighbourhoods, developing employment and training opportunities, keeping their communities safe and secure and continuously improving services.
Talking about the news City South Manchester's chief executive Dave Power said: "For an organisation less than two years old to be shortlisted for Social Landlord of the Year is a real achievement in itself. It shows we're already setting an example for others to follow when it comes to tackling a range of issues in our neighbourhoods."
