Manchester Metropolitan University are planning to spend £120 million on developments, which will bring many employment and education opportunities into our area. That’s why they want to hear from you.

Local opportunities

To get the best out of these major plans, the university have agreed that local people will get real opportunities to access jobs in the creation and running of the campus – and of course, the chance to learn and study there once
it’s built.

Where will this development be?

The development site is bordered by Stretford Road, Old Birley Street and Princess Road. It will house the university’s teacher training and health faculties.

Meet the developers

If you would like to learn more about the plan, the MMU project team are running consultation events in July. Anyone can come and ask questions and air their views at these events but if you can't make it you can complete a questionnaire.
