A local youth team recently proved that you’re never too old for a red nose when they raised some laughs at one of our supported housing schemes.
Based in Moss Side, the ‘nXt Generation’ is a voluntary team of young adults, aged from 18 to 25. They set up and help out with all kinds of community projects and events so we knew the folks at Will Griffiths Court would appreciate a visit from them.
As it was Red Nose Day, the team made sure there was plenty of singing, sandwiches and general silliness! One of the residents, said ‘I’ve not had a laugh like this for ages! Please make sure they come back soon!’
The team was a part of our community-wide effort to raise money as well as laughs. It’s thanks to them and the City South team, that we’ve already raised £120 for Comic Relief. And there’s more to come!
