We’re always listening. However, with the Big Listen, we’re making a massive effort to collect your thoughts and find out what you really think about our services. Basically, it’s a big conversation about making life better for you! And to start it all off, we’re having our first Big Listen event on Saturday 31 October.
Quick-fire voting
We’ll be getting things going with audience votes on a whole range of stuff. It’s quick. It’s simple. And it’s a great way to sort out the issues.
Get it on film
Record your thoughts on our video pod – just look into the camera and say what’s on your mind. You may even become one of our online screen stars!
Free stuff
There’ll be free lunch. A free goodie bag. And, of course, you’ll be free to tell us exactly what you think!
Getting the most out of your day
While we’re listening, we’ll make sure there’s plenty for you to enjoy. There’ll be performances from the Zion choir and local musicians, the premiere of City South – The Movie, and the chance to meet some local artists. You’ll also be able to talk with people from Manchester Credit Union, the Prince’s Trust, and Manchester Leaseholders’ Association.
Community Awards
It’s the first year of our community awards – a celebration of the people and their hard work that helps to make our neighbourhoods even greater. We’ll be awarding prizes to those you’ve voted for so find out if your neighbour’s a winner. Who knows – maybe you’ll be walking away with a prize!
When and where?
Fill in our quick and easy online form to let us know you’ll be coming along. The event is at our offices at Turing House in Hulme (opposite Asda). And it starts at 10:15am. You can also use the form to let us know if you need help with transport or you have any special dietary needs. We can also arrange for a signer to be there on the day.
