Register for rehousing
To get a City South Manchester home - or a home rented from other not-for-profit landlords in the area - you must 'register' for rehousing.
The quickest way to register is to do it online through the Homefinder website. (Homefinder is a 'choice-based letting' system run by Manchester City Council and other not-for-profit landlords).

What happens next?
When you are registered, you can use 'Homefinder' to look for available rented homes from not-for-profit landlords across Manchester (unless you need specialist housing, such as a home adapted for a disabled person - homes like this are not advertised on Homefinder).
It's a 'choice-based letting' system that advertises homes from City South, Manchester City Council and other 'registered social landlords' like housing associations. . . that means it's about you choosing a home and applying for it yourself, rather than just sitting on a waiting list.
