Ordering a repair
Online - you can order repairs online 24 hours a day, seven days a week using our simple online repairs system, choosing a time that suits you best from the onscreen appointments
Email - Send details, including your name and address to firstname.lastname@example.org
Phone - You can ring us to order a repair on 0800 840 1444 between 8am and 5.30pm weekdays (except bank holidays). Call this number outside these hours and on bank holidays for emergencies only.*
Write - You can write to us at: Repairs Team, City South Manchester Housing Trust, Turing House, Archway 5, Hulme, Manchester M15 5RL
In person - you can report your repair at our offices at Turing House or to your local neighbourhood officer
What happens next?
We will immediately order the repair or arrange an appointment to check exactly what needs doing. The more urgent it is, the quicker we will do it. We will come to emergency repairs within 24 hours.
If the repair is indoors, we will agree a suitable appointment with you within our timescales. We will tell you which day we will call, and let you choose one of 4 daytime appointment slots. We will also send you reminder via text message the day before your appointment. If you are not in for your repair appointment you will be charged for the callout.

*Between 10pm-8am on weekdays and 6pm-8am on weekends our out of hours service won’t send an operative to fix emergency repairs that are tenants’ responsibilities or that are reasonable to expect customers to cope with. These jobs will be picked up from 8am the following day.
