Tenants' vote for City South
Manchester City Council tenants in Fallowfield, Hulme, Moss Side and Whalley Range were asked to vote on proposals to switch management of their homes to City South Manchester Housing Trust in a four-week ballot in July 2007.
Ballot result:
Turnout: 71%
YES to City South: 68%
The result gave City South the backing it needs from the people that matter.
